In 2020, SCAPE began the Invitation to Tender (ITT) process to appoint partners for the new SCAPE Consultancy frameworks.
When COVID‑19 hit, SCAPE extended the Built Environment Consultancy Services (BECS) framework by three months to avoid placing additional pressure on existing and prospective bidders, and to allow delivery partners to focus on supporting essential public services.
The new £1 billion frameworks launched in November 2020 to run for four years, with the option of a two‑year extension, replacing the BECS framework that expired on 4 January 2021.
