Boclair Academy

East Dunbartonshire Council aimed to create spaces that support collaborative teaching and learning, encouraging students to become confident, responsible individuals who contribute effectively within and beyond the school.

Delivered by McLaughlin & Harvey via the SCAPE Scotland Construction framework, this two-storey building, constructed on the existing school grounds for 1,050 pupils, promotes visibility among different year groups, enhancing peer interaction during the learning process. With a design focused on flexibility, teachers are empowered to teach in innovative ways, utilising various spaces throughout the school.
