Fernwood Primary School
Projects
Overview
Due to a rise in reception-age children in Nottingham over four years, Nottingham City Council commissioned a school expansion for Fernwood Primary School. Delivered by G F Tomlinson via the SCAPE Regional Construction Framework, the project included six bright, spacious classrooms, teaching areas, a dance/breakout facility, a plant room, and restrooms, all whilst working within a live environment.
Early contractor engagement with stakeholders helped us understand access and operational needs, allowing for effective planning and execution of the expansion.
