Delivered for Plymouth City Council through the SCAPE Civil Engineering Framework in collaboration with Balfour Beatty, the Forder Valley Link Road in Plymouth enhanced connectivity and reduced congestion across the city. The scheme delivered a 1km link road, the 140m Forder Valley Viaduct, a bridge over Bircham Valley, new walking and cycling routes, wildlife corridors, and landscaping.
It improved access to 4,300 homes and 9,000 jobs, reduced travel times, and expanded habitat creation and sustainable drainage. The award-winning project generated significant social value for local communities, demonstrating how infrastructure can drive growth and promote sustainability.
