Overview
Highfields Spencer Academy is a vibrant learning space serving a new housing community on the outskirts of Derby. Opened in September 2020, it quickly became integral to the neighbourhood, addressing the growing demand for school places in Derbyshire.
The building, with it's striking and colourful façade was delivered for Derbyshire County Council by Morgan Sindall Construction via the SCAPE Regional Construction Framework. Designed by Lungfish Architects, the project utilised offsite modular construction, enabling completion in nine months, ahead of schedule and under budget, with a 9/10 customer satisfaction score.
