Arup supported Perth and Kinross Council to deliver the Perth People Place programme, leading community engagement and feasibility work for the Dunkeld Road Corridor Neighbourhood, the first project in the programme.
Through the SCAPE Scotland Consultancy Placeshaping framework, Arup worked closely with funding partners Sustrans and Perth and Kinross Council, and used a co‑design approach to ensure inclusive engagement across the community, generating strong qualitative evidence to shape liveable neighbourhoods with accessible amenities. They developed an engagement methodology targeting key groups and wider community input. This process informed the project’s scope and provided a foundation for future design stages.
