Willmott Dixon TFGM Rotala Bus Depot Bee Network 01

Delivered through the SCAPE Construction framework, Willmott Dixon installed new electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at Transport for Greater Manchester’s upgraded Bolton bus depot, supporting the region’s shift from diesel to electric buses.

The project delivered major upgrades to the site’s electrical capacity, including a high‑voltage ring main, new substations, and 25 dual EV chargers, powering 50 zero‑emission buses for the Bee Network. These improvements not only enable large‑scale electrification but also futureproof Greater Manchester’s transport hubs, supporting a more efficient, sustainable, and low‑carbon public transport network.
