A new generation of framework delivery was introduced to support community‑focused construction across the Midlands and East of England.
Regional Construction framework launched
The next generation of the Regional Construction framework was launched to deliver £750m of community projects over four years, supporting local authorities across the regions.
Through the fourth-generation framework, public sector organisations gained instant access to high-quality contractors and a strong local supply chain. For the first time, a net-zero-ready Life Cycle agreement was introduced, helping clients move towards a more sustainable built environment. Eight delivery partners were appointed — Jeakins Weir, Stepnell, G F Tomlinson, Lindum Group, Ashe Construction, Conamar, Clegg Construction and R G Carter — all enabling high-quality, compliant project delivery while creating social value, training opportunities, and local employment.
