Springhead Bridge

To support a new 15,000-house residential development, the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation commissioned Springhead Bridge, which linked Springhead Park with Ebbsfleet International Railway Station.

This 87-meter bridge supported vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists, providing residents with easy access to the station within a seven-minute walk. Developed by Balfour Beatty via the SCAPE National Civil Engineering and Infrastructure framework, the project aligned with the government's 20-year regeneration strategy and received a bronze award at the Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice in 2019.
