In 2017, AECOM Bristol received the first BECS commission, appointed by the University of Bristol to undertake the re-imagining of a key Brownfield site in the heart of Bristol City Centre. This appointment included the master planning through to detailed design, procurement of a Construction Contract, and subsequently construction activities for the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus. The commission was initially under the BECS framework, before transitioning into the SCAPE Consultancy framework and spanned all stages of the RIBA Plan of Works.
The commission enabled the University to benefit from a wide ranging Multi-disciplinary Consultancy Team whose support, advice, and professional experience span over 20 different disciplines during the project lifespan. This exemplifies the long-term partnership and successful delivery model in which Perfect Circle has supported the project, demonstrating the depth and breadth of services provided and the strength of the ongoing relationship.
